Below are the federal holidays for 2026. 

Please keep all of these dates in mind throughout the year as you create and initiate your ACH files.  

New Year's Day - Thursday, January 1
Martin Luther King Day - Monday, January 19
Presidents Day - Monday, February 16
Memorial Day - Monday, May 25
Juneteenth - Friday, June 19
Labor Day - Monday, September 7
Columbus Day/Indigenous Peoples' Day - Monday, October 12
Veterans Day - Wednesday, November 11
Thanksgiving Day - Thursday, November 26
Christmas Eve - Thursday, December 24 (Oakwood Bank is closed at 12 pm) ACH files need to be initiated by 11am.
Christmas Day - Friday, December 25

No ACH files, remote deposit files, or wires will be transmitted on Federal Reserve Bank holidays. This is especially true when a holiday falls on a Thursday or Friday, as most ACH payroll related files are submitted on Wednesdays and Thursdays with effective dates of Thursday or Friday.
