Oakwood Bank Donates $5,000 Improve Ekern Park

At Oakwood Bank, we believe in investing in the communities we serve - not just through financial services, but by supporting the places and people that make our small towns special.

If you've ever visited Pigeon Falls, Wisconsin, you've likely spent time at Ekern Park - home to the community's beloved softball field. It's where memories are made: whether cheering from the stands, grabbing a brat during Memorial Day festivities, or playing a game with friends and family.

Today, that well-loved field is in need of a new chain link fence - a project with an estimated cost of $38,000, as the current fencing is over 50 years old. The field is regularly used by youth and adult sports teams and serves as a gathering place for generations of local families.

To help preserve this community landmark, Oakwood Bank is proud to donate $5,000 toward the Pigeon Falls Lions Club's fundraising effort to replace the fencing. We're honored to partner with organizations like the Lions Club who share our commitment to keeping local traditions alive and thriving.

Because at Oakwood Bank, your community is our community - and that means being there, on and off the field.
