Jim Vrchota

Senior Vice President

Jim Vrchota is a native of Winona County with almost 45 years of banking experience. He joined Oakwood Bank in May 2021 to help establish the Rollingstone, MN, location. Jim has been a successful president or market president for 15 of his 45 years and brings substantial experience in commercial and agricultural lending, along with an extensive background in SBA 504 Lending. 

Jim graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota and has completed the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, WI. Jim serves on the Economic Development Association for Winona County and the Winona Area Chamber of Commerce, and also acts as a consultant to the City of Goodview EDA. Jim also volunteered his time on boards for the Winona ORC, the Benedictine Living Community-Winona (St. Anne's), the Workforce Development Board, and the Winona Rotary Board. 

When he's not working, you'll find Jim involved with local community theater productions, golf, or enjoying the company of his wife & their six grandchildren.

Brendan Haney

VP Business Banker

Brendan Haney joined Oakwood Bank in February of 2025, bringing seven years of lending experience to the team. Brendan has extensive experience in commercial and agricultural lines of credit, equipment loans, and commercial real estate, as well as consumer lending.

Brendan graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and completed the Commercial Lending School in Madison, WI. Brendan has completed the Leadership Chippewa Falls program, is a member of the Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls Chamber of Commerce, a board member of the Stanley Chamber of Commerce, and a prior Emerging Leaders member.

Brendan lives in Chippewa Falls with his wife and two daughters. When not working, Brendan can be found golfing, traveling, or enjoying the outdoors.

Nate Cote

Market President

Nate recently relocated from Rochester, MN, to Goodview, MN, to assume this position. An interesting fact about Nate is that he began his career in commercial and agricultural banking at this bank, formerly known as Pigeon Falls State Bank, approximately 10 years ago. The prior owner at the time was Norma Sletteland. Bill, the current CEO and owner, initially trained him in the industry, and they remained in touch over the years he spent in Rochester, MN.

Nate graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a bachelor's degree in business administration, with an emphasis in finance, and possesses a wide range of knowledge in the commercial and agricultural lending industries.

Nate has served on numerous committees for the communities in which he has worked and has also served on boards for local non-profit organizations. Nate is looking forward to getting involved in the Rollingstone, MN, community and the local surrounding communities.

In his free time, Nate enjoys spending time in the great outdoors. He is an avid outdoorsman, and if Nate is not working for the day, there's a good chance you'll find him fishing on the Mississippi River or out in the woods.

Josh Beaudette

Commercial Loan Officer

Josh Beaudette was born and raised in Chippewa Falls, WI. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and is currently a member of the commercial lending team at Oakwood Bank. Josh is heavily involved in the community, serving as an ambassador for the Chippewa Falls Chamber of Commerce, a board member for the Young Professionals of the Chippewa Valley, and an avid volunteer for several local nonprofits. Josh enjoys working with businesses to identify their needs and assist them in achieving their goals.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, including creating elaborate treasure hunts, camping, walking through Irvine Park, and supporting local coffee shops.

Mason Bucher

Business Banker

Mason Bucher joined Oakwood Bank in June 2021, bringing with him a broad range of experience in the financial services industry. Before transitioning into lending, Mason held several key roles, including teller, personal banker, and loan processor, which provided him with a well-rounded understanding of the banking process.

Growing up with a family involved in real estate, home renovations, and house flipping, Mason developed an early appreciation for the importance of a smooth, streamlined financing experience. He applies that same commitment to helping clients navigate the lending process with clarity and ease.

Outside of work, Mason enjoys spending time outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and exploring nature.

Leslie Mohler

Business Banker

Leslie has been with Oakwood Bank since July 2019. She joined the team with over 30 years of lending experience in consumer mortgages, commercial lending, and agriculture, gained from various financial institutions as well as local and federal government agencies. She also has a couple of years' experience as a closer while working at a title company. Her career in financial services spans from being a teller to a branch manager. 

Having grown up on a small family farm in a community similar to where our branches are located, she appreciates the hard work and dedication and can connect with our customers. She lives in Mondovi, where she is a member and cantor in her church choir. She also enjoys golf, playing cards, scrapbooking, singing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends whenever possible.
